DIY Farm Living

We live on a small farm of about 50 acres in the Appalachian foothills. I'm from Oklahoma originally, and I worked in Texas for about 30 years. We moved here to my wife's family farm to be more self-sufficient by growing and storing our own food, learning new skills, and just wanted a quieter, private life with clean air away from the hectic life in the big city. We've been here almost ten years and it's been a very interesting experience, so here we are sharing it.
